Continuing with an eating theme Pilar De La Horadada, at the southern point of the Costa Blanca, has organized its 8^th Gastronomy Experience.

Going by the name of ““Sabores de Cuaresma" or “Tastes of Lent" it will be taking place everyday from 16^th of February until 25^th of February, as well as every Friday during the period of Lent, starting the 2^nd March until the 30^th March. The thirteen restaurants can be found in the town, both on the coast and inland.

The Department of Tourism wants to ensure that all tourists and visitors visiting the municipality have the opportunity to visit a participating restaurant and have a taste of a typical dish of Lent.

The restaurants have once again created menus based on traditional cuisine and local products, such as cod, salted fish, vegetables and traditional desserts such as torrijas.

As for the price of the Lenten menus, they range between twenty and twenty-eight euros.

It should be noted that in this 8th edition of 'Sabores de Lenten', customers are rewarded.

With each menu the establishment will give away a spoon, and they will stamp the booklet you will receive for the Taste Of Lent experience. Once you have collected three stamps in the booklet you will receive an apron, available from the Tourist Information in Pilar. You will also be included into a draw.
