Winter at the Beach
From the 4th March until mid-June, the municipal department of the beaches is launching a series of sport activities for everybody in the area.
At the La Caleta Beach, next to the marina at Cabo Roig, the activities in March will be commencing at 11am and will be an hour long, fun sports on the beach, with varying options such as aerobics, yoga, body balance and more.
Once the weather and the waters warm a little in April further activities are being introduced such as a program of activities for children, canoeing, stand-up paddle and an introduction to diving.
The La Caleta Beach is a prime position for these activities as it is very popular in the winters months, the beach bar is open all year round, so is at hand for drinks and snacks, you also have local restaurants nearby, as well as the Cabo Roig marina for those who may feel a little more adventurous and want to hire a boat or jetski.
It is hoped that this new incentive by the town hall will bring families together to have fun on our lovely blue flag beach whilst taking part in something different and staying healthy at the same time.
The activities on offer are being offered free of charge by the Municipal Department of the beaches in the hope that we can get together and enjoy fabulous things we have available here at our fingertips.
