Quality Of Life
16 Oct

In a recent major bank survey to expats, for destinations they have moved themselves and their family, it was concluded that Spain ranked 2nd place out of 30 as the country offering the best quality of life.

Beaten to the number one spot by New Zealand, closely followed in 3rd place by Taiwan.

The results from the 11th HSBC Expat Explorer survey, stated that 8 out of 10 expats say that their quality of life is better here in Spain than in their home country. In the quality of life category they looked at health services, friendliness of people, and climate amongst other things.

The results came from 22´000 professionals from 163 different countries you have left their home country to work abroad.

Although salaries in Spain are low in comparison to some other countries, those who have made the move love the fact that their quality of life has improved, and those with children say the move has brought them closer together as a family.

With this area of Spain offering its micro climate, thanks to the warmth of the Mediterranean Sea and the inland mountain range, which works like a buffer for any weather influences from the sea and from inland, people can benefit from lots of time outside.

With over 300 days of sunshine each year and average temperatures between 18 and 28 degrees, it indeed guarantees a better well-being with many who suffer from asthma, arthritis and skin disorders, seeing a noticeable difference when away from their home country.

Although the survey is from expats the country indeed offers the same quality of life to everyone, and is increasing popular with neighboring European countries as well as those from farther afield.

So if you are looking for a new place to live, a second home, an investment, why not take a look at this beautiful area of Spain. Here at Golf Sun Spanish Properties we have a portfolio of properties of all types and would love to welcome you here!
