Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Christmas festivities are upon us, another busy year has passed and we want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We thought we would let you know of a few festive things going on in the area over the coming week.

We are once again blessed with blue skies and the shinning sun at this festive time of year, and what better way than to take a well-deserved lunch watching those blue skies on a warm terrace or a cosy evening dinner with a few drinks. Plenty of local restaurants are open and offering festive menus to tempt your taste buds.

For entertainment: Father Christmas has arrived and set up his cabin at Zenia Boulevard to await the children with their requests for presents for Christmas day. They also have for those budding Torvill and Dean's amongst us, or just for the children to pass some time, a mini ice skating rink, set up in a large marque, opposite the entrance to Leroy Merlin.

This Saturday between 12 and 7, next to the town hall, the International Association are holding a charity party for everyone to enjoy. At 18.00hrs a fantastic group of 12 musicians and singers will be entertaining everyone at the main square of Zenia Boulevard with their modern songs and lifting those Christmas spirits.

On Sunday there will be a Christmas fancy dress parade and it will be travelling around the streets of Zenia Boulevard shopping centre at 17.00hrs for everyone to enjoy.

Plus there are many more local groups and businesses offering exciting things for the Christmas period.
