Food and more fun festivities

Carnival fun is continuing in the region. Many children are delighting in dress up time at school with many adhering various costumes and themes and having their very own carnival show for family and friends at school.

Torrevieja continues with its celebrations as outlined last week, and also the city of Alicante is about to start theirs. The main adult party starts this Saturday 10th February at 21.00hrs along the Rambla.

More local back in Torrevieja, today starts its “Cazuelica Y Vino". This is a long weekend event taking itself through until Sunday where you have the opportunity to experience new restaurants. There are 21 bars and restaurants participating and they will be offering a “Cazuelica" Tapa for 2 euros and a “Vino", glass of wine, for 1.50 euros. The tapas and wine are available from 12.00 until 16.30 and 19.30 until 23.00.

This is a great way to spend some time at the weekend visiting different places and trying out different foods.

The participating restaurants are spread from Punta Prima, La Mata and Torrevieja itself.
